Originally published as part of the 'Beautiful Britain' series in 1911.
This edition has an appendix added by myself that
deals with the S.S. Stella shipwreck of 1890,
which was only mentioned in passing in the original edition.
There were 105 fatalities from a complement of 190 passengers and crew.
The incident is largely forgotten now. Colour illustrations.
